PressureHab Zone 1 & Zone 2
Pressurized Welding Habitat Systems
PressureHab’s pressurized welding habitat systems have been designed with the end user’s safety requirements in mind.
Made from high quality durable fire-resistant fiberglass material, a PressureHab can withstand welding & grinding sparks up to 550° C (1000° F) without the requirement of additional internal cladding. In addition, the floor is tiled with our extra thick fiberglass floor panel to increase that fire resistance to 850° (circa 1550° F), able to contain red hot molten metal or slag within the PressureHab.
A PressureHab welding habitat can be built into any shape and around any obstacle using our unique 1x1 and 1x2 meter fiberglass panels. The panels provide superior protection to isolate hot work from potential explosive atmosphere. PressureHab's panels interlock with a tong & groove system, and are held into place by velcro hook & loop. Additionally, they are modular and interchangeable, meaning that no A & B panel, no zippers.
Depending on the hazardous area Zone you're planning to work in, you require either our Zone 1 Safe-Stop or our Zone 2 Safe-Work control system to pressurize and operate the PressureHab.
